Fern Contract furniture pieces are available for hospitality, restaurant, corporate and civic spaces with the same dedication to craft and design as our residential line. Each piece is made in our Hudson, New York workshop using sustainably harvested American hardwoods. Our work meets the highest standards for durability, function and design.
CUSTOM
While our focus is on the Fern brand, we also specialize in custom one-off pieces and adaptations of existing designs for Designers and Architects for commercial spaces.
FABRICATION
With our Hudson Valley location, we are able to execute custom furniture pieces for commercial and civic markets that take advantage of our network of local upholsterers, metal workers, millwork cabinetmakers, and CNC operators.

SELECTED PROJECTS
MADISON SQUARE PARK OFFICE - NEW YORK, NY - 2014
In collaboration with a noted New York City-based design firm, Fern designed and fabricated conference tables, lounge tables and a reception desk. The focus was on using solid wood to design streamlined modern office furniture that would create a sense of warmth not found in many contract furniture applications.
AKERMAN LAW OFFICE - MIAMI, FL - 2015
In collaboration with one of the world's most noted architecture firms, we designed and fabricated a 26-foot long communal dining table in a noted Miami law office. Spanning 60" wide in solid live-edge ash, the table has a monumental presence.
SCRIBNER'S LODGE - HUNTER, NY - 2016
Located in Hunter, NY, Scribner's Catskill Lodge is a 38-room renovated hotel designed by Brooklyn's Studio Tack. The hotel features two 12-foot long Sawyer Benches, a custom 9-foot long Library Table and a custom Plank Bench.
ANVIL HOTEL - JACKSON, WY - 2016
Working with Brooklyn's Studio Tack, Fern fabricated dining and bar Swell Stools for this renovated hotel in Jackson Hole, WY.
VICIA RESTAURANT - ST. LOUIS, MO - 2017
Fern provided seating for Vicia Restaurant - a vegetable-forward restaurant owned by Michael & Tara Gallina. The project included Sawyer Benches, and Silo Arm- and Side Chairs.
