The Parchment Lamp 001 is the first series of lights from our studio designed around the traditional use of laced goat parchment.

This first series references Brutalist architecture, Casa Luis Barragán, and Space Age materials.

Each lamp features hand-laced goat parchment shades sourced from the Hudson Valley, a white oak structure, and black-waxed aluminum and white oak bases. Each size is available in an edition of 10 + 3 Artist’s Proofs.

Made by hand in the Hudson Valley, New York. Goat parchment, like leather, is a natural hide that exhibits characteristics typical of a natural animal product. Goat parchment moves seasonally, natural puckering will occur in limited-climate controlled spaces.
